Vietnam fall to England at WPA Team World 10-Ball Championship 2026
VOV.VN - Vietnam’s billiards team of Duong Quoc Hoang, Bui Xuan Vang and Pham Phuong Nam lost to England on February 26 (Vietnam time) in their next match at the WPA Team World 10-Ball Championship 2026.
Vietnam were beaten 1-4 in the opening match, edged 3-4 in the second and fell 1-4 again in the third, resulting in an overall 0-3 defeat. The victory sent England into the quarter-finals.
Vietnam still have a chance to advance if they produce a strong performance in their next match. In the decisive round for a place in the quarter-finals, they will face the winner of the tie between South Korea and Indonesia.
The WPA Team World 10-Ball Championship 2026 is being held in Las Vegas, the United States, featuring 20 of the world’s leading teams. The tournament runs through February 27 (local time). Southeast Asian representatives include Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and Singapore.
Vietnam entered this year’s event aiming for the highest possible finish, with key player Duong Quoc Hoang regarded as being in strong form.
