Duong Quoc Hoang competes at 2026 WPA 10-ball Team World Championship

VOV.VN - Fresh from winning the 2026 Premier League Pool, Duong Quoc Hoang has travelled to Las Vegas to compete at the 2026 Predator WPA Teams 10-Ball World Championship which kicked off on February 25.

Hoang, known as “Hoang Sao,” joins Bui Xuan Vang and Pham Phuong Nam in representing Vietnam at the tournament. According to the draw, Vietnam will face the Netherlands in their opening match on the morning of February 25 (Vietnam time). The championship runs through February 27 (local time).

Teams advancing from the group stage will move into the semifinals on February 26, with the final scheduled for February 27. Alongside Vietnam, Southeast Asian representatives at the event include Singapore, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Prior to the team championship, Hoang claimed the Premier League Pool 2026 title in the United States, defeating Francisco Sanchez Ruiz 7-4 in the final. The event, part of the World Nineball Tour, took place from February 19 to 23 in Florida and featured 16 of the world’s leading 9-ball players. The victory was Hoang’s first at the tournament and helped him secure the No.1 position.
