Vietnam were knocked out of the qualifying round at the ASEAN Football Federation (AFF) U-16 Championship in Indonesia on August 6 after drawing with Myanmar 2-2 in the fifth match of Group A.

Myanmar and Indonesia topped the group and qualified for the next stage.
