Vietnam beats RoK at 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup

VOV.VN - Vietnamese players enjoyed an impressive victory after overcoming the Republic of Korea (RoK) 3-0 on August 24 in the preliminary round of Group A of the 2022 Asian Women's Volleyball Cup.

The first and second sets of the game saw Vietnam enjoy easy wins with scores of 25-13 and 13-25, respectively.

The Korean team then entered the final set with strong determination and were constantly on the attack to overturn the deficit. However, they were ultimately defeated by Vietnam with the final score of 3-0.

With three wins and one loss, the Vietnamese team will surely finish in the top two in their group as they advance to the semi-final stage. 

Vietnam’s best result in the tournament was fourth place back in 2012.

In their last appearance in 2018, the team finished fifth.
