Vietnam 14h in AFC Men’s Club Competitions Mid-Season Ranking

VOV.VN - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) has released its latest Mid-Season Club Rankings for the 2024/25 season, with Vietnam placed in 14th position.

During the reviewed period, Vietnam had no representative participating in the AFC Champions League Elite, apart from Nam Dinh Steel FC that competed in the AFC Champions League Two.

Despite suffering failure in their match against Sanfrecce Hiroshima FC, the club still helped Vietnam to earn an additional 10,794 points with three wins, two draws, and three losses.

Overall, Vietnam accumulated a total of 34,499 points, finishing 14th in AFC rankings.

Saudi Arabia topped the rankings with 109,054 points, followed by Japan with 102,153 points, the Republic of Korea with 89,990 points, the United Arab Emirates with 71,653 points, and Iran with 68,312 points.

In Southeast Asia, Vietnam were placed in third position, followed by Thailand and Malaysia.
