Tien Minh takes out New Zealand’s Vincent Tong
VOV.VN - Vietnamese hot-shot Nguyen Tien Minh took out New Zealand’s Vincent Tong in just 16 minutes of play to advance to the third round of the SKYCITY New Zealand Open badminton tournament in Auckland City.
Minh could hardly conceal his delight after he dominated the match winning two straight sets at 21-1 and 21-4.
He next faces off with either Jonathan Sun from Australia or Fikri Ihsandi Hadmadi from Indonesia in the third round.
In the women singles event, Vietnam’s Vu Thi Trang will meet Vicki Copeland of New Zealand in the first round.
