Duong Thuy Vi, who brought home a gold medal for Vietnam at the World Games 2022, secured a place at the 2025 edition of the games thanks to her recent strong performance.

The taolu (performance) event will also see the presence of other martial artists such as Dang Tran Phuong Nhi who bagged two gold medals at the World Wushu Championships 2023, as well as SEA Games 32 champion Nong Van Huu.

Vietnam will send four athletes to compete in the sanda (combat) event at the World Games this year, including Huynh Do Dat and Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, both of whom were gold medalists at the 2023 World Wushu Championships.

Vietnamese finswimmers qualify for 2025 World Games
