VOV.VN - The Vietnam women’s national football team secured a 3-1 win over the women’s team of Tezukayama Gakuin University in their second friendly match during a training camp in Japan on June 13.

For this match, head coach Mai Duc Chung fielded a line-up primarily consisting of young players. Goalkeeper Khong Thi Hang was sent in alongside defenders Diem My, Hoang Thi Loan, Kin Yen, Tran Thi Duyen, and My Anh.
Tezukayama Gakuin, known for their uniformity in physicality and technical skills, played a high-pressing game that helped them to open the scoring in the 35th minute.
In the second half, coach Chung made seven substitutions to change the dynamics of the game. The adjustments quickly paid off. In the 53rd minute, striker Huynh Nhu equalised with a well-coordinated team move, bringing the score to 1-1. Just 12 minutes later, she struck again, completing her brace and giving Vietnam a 2-1 lead.
With fresh reinforcements across the field, Vietnam maintained pressure and extended their lead in the 80th minute with a goal from Nguyen Thi Hoa. The match ended 3-1 in favour of Vietnam after a spirited comeback.
This is Vietnam’s second win following their 3-2 victory over Iga Kuinichi Mie on June 11.
They are scheduled to play their final friendly match on June 15 against Osaka University of Health and Sport Sciences.
