Over 100 foreign coaches to gather in Da Nang for ITF Asian regional conference
VOV.VN - Vietnam will play host to the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Asian regional coaches conference in late September for the first time.
More than 100 foreign coaches from 17 countries and territories worldwide, as well as 17 local coaches, have registered to participate in the event.
World famous speakers will join in the occasion, including Dario Novak of Croatia, Simone Bertino of Italy, David Taylor of Australia, and Jonathan Stubbs of the United Kingdom.
Nguyen Quoc Ky, president of the Vietnam Tennis Federation (VTF), said the conference plays an important part in the development of Vietnamese tennis whilst providing an opportunity for local coaches to enhance their professional expertise and practical skills and gain experience from foreigners. The Asian regional coaches conference is part of activities being held as part of the ITF this year.
The event is scheduled to take place from September 27 to September 29 at the Tien Son sports centre in Da Nang city.
