One more silver medal for Vietnam in World Para Championships

VOV.VN - Vietnamese weightlifter Dang Thi Linh Phuong won a silver medal in the women’s 50kg category at the 2017 World Para Swimming and Powerlifting Championships in Mexico City on December 5.

Earlier on December 4, Le Van Cong got a gold medal and broke the world record in the men’s 49kg category.

After three-day competition, Vietnam bagged a gold and a silver medals and set a new record in the men’s 49kg category.

Vietnam sent to Mexico six athletes for men’s 49kg, women’s 50kg, men’s 54kg, women’s 55kg, men’s 59 kg and 65kg categories at the World Para Swimming and Powerlifting Championships.
