Nam beats Alejandro Moro Canas at Spain F28 Futures
Vietnam’s top tennis player Ly Hoang Nam defeated Alejandro Moro Canas of Spain 2-1 in the men’s singles first round of the Spain F28 Futures tennis tournament in Madrid on September 19.

Both Nam and Canas received wild cards to compete in this US$25,000 event.
With the support of home fans, Canas quickly overwhelmed the Vietnamese player and crushed Nam 6-4 in the first set.
In the next set, Canas led 4-2 but Nam fought back strongly to win 6-4.
In the third decisive set, Nam won 6-3 to claim victory.
Nam, world No 521, will take on French Alexis Musialek, world No 606, in the second round.
