Minh, Phat to compete in French badminton event

Vietnamese players Nguyen Tien Minh and Le Duc Phat will compete at the Orleans International badminton tournament in France on March 30-April 2.

Phat will first play Joran Kweekel of the Netherlands on Thursday in the qualifying round.

Minh who just won the title at the Hanoi International Challenge last weekend is No 1 seed.

He will compete against Belgian Maxime Moreelsin in the first match of the main round on March 31.
