Tien Minh faces Chen Chi Ting in Kawasaki quarter finals

VOV.VN - Nguyen Tien Minh has set up a quarter-final clash at the five-day Kawasaki Vietnam International Series 2016 (September 28-October 2) in Bac Ninh with Chinese qualifier Chen Chi Ting.

On September 30, Minh defeated Satheishtharan from Malaysia 21-13, 21-14 in 35 minutes of play to advance to the quarter finals. 

Minh’s teammate Vu Thi Trang upset Thai rival Piramon Chamnaktan 21-14, 21-11 to earn a quarter-final berth.

Meanwhile, Bao Minh-Duong Bao Duc was an upset when they crashed out of the tourney losing to Kang Dong Ho-Son Ju Hyung from the Republic of Korea 13-21, 21-15, 19-21.
