Ly Hoang Nam into semi-finals of M15 Chandigarh
VOV.VN - Top local tennis player Ly Hoang Nam enjoyed an easy victory over Thanapet Chanta of Thailand on March 22 in the quarter-final stage of the India’s M15 Chandigarh 2024.
Nam, ranked 488th in the world and the tournament’s No. 4 seed, won both sets with the final score being 2-0.
Previously, Chant had twice faced off against the Tay Ninh-born tennis player, suffering defeat on both occasions.
Moving forward, Nam will next play Ramkumar Ramanathan of India, who is seeded No. 2 and ranked 410th place in the world, on March 23.
If the Vietnamese player wins the match, then he will soon climb to a higher position in the ATP Rankings. Moreover, Nam will also have the opportunity to lift the second M15 championship trophy this year.
