Ly Hoang Nam in world’s top 700 for first time
VOV.VN - Thanks to a good result at the Vietnam Men’s Future F6 tennis tourney quarter-finals, Hoang Nam has jumped 18 spots from No. 701 in September to No. 683 in the October ATP singles rankings.
The 19-year-old young man from Binh Duong Province now has a grand total of 35 points in the ATP singles rankings and has been named in the world’s top 700 for the first time ever.
In the doubles rankings, Nam climbed 111 places from No. 929 in September to No. 818 in October. Hoang Nam is now preparing for the Vietnam Open tennis tourney where he will face French rival Maxime Tabatruong on October 11 in the first round.
Meanwhile, his teammate Nguyen Hoang Thien dropped down 28 spots to No. 2002.
