Judo fighters to vie for titles at Paris World Championships Kata 2025

VOV.VN - Six Vietnamese judokas are set to represent their country at the Paris World Championships Kata 2025, scheduled in France from November 4 to 11.

Tran Le Phuong Nga and Nguyen Bao Ngoc, who claimed gold medals in the Juno Kata division at the Southeast Asia Judo Championships 2025, are among the standout athletes of the Vietnamese team.

Their teammates, including Phan Minh Hanh and Tran Quoc Cuong, also Southeast Asian champions in the Nage No Kata division in July, are expected to be key contenders at the global event.

Two younger judokas, Le Khanh Ngoc, 19, and Pham Thien Nhan, 21, will also take part in the competition.

The Paris World Championships Kata 2025 will feature 466 participants from 37 countries and territories. Judokas from Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam will represent Southeast Asia in the international tournament.
