Huynh Nhu officially ends contract with Lank FC

VOV.VN - Huynh Nhu, captain of the Vietnamese national women’s football team, has decided not to extend her contract with Lank FC of Portugal after the 2023/24 season concludes.

According to local media, the Vietnamese striker did not renew her contract with the Portuguese club and is now likely to return to Vietnam after this season.

Before leaving Nhu will continue to play in two playoff games for the club against Amora on May 26 and June 9.

The 33-year-old played 23 matches for Lank FC this season, with a total of 1,929 minutes on the field, an average of 83.87 minutes per match. The Vietnamese striker scored three goals and recorded one assist.

It’s currently unclear which club Nhu will play for when she eventually returns to the country.

Some sources said that Nhu has considered several offers from local clubs and may even return to Ho Chi Minh City I FC.
