The Ho Chi Minh City-born athlete has been seeded No. 9 ahead of the tournament.
The event will be part of the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Men’s World Tennis Tour, with the players’ achievements helping to improve their rankings on the global leaderboard.
This comes after Nam, 24, participated in five global tennis tournaments in Egypt which are also part of the ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour.
The Vietnamese athlete won the championship title in the men singles’ event at the M15 Sharm El Sheikh Tournament 2021 which concluded on October 31.
He also progressed through to the semi-finals in two other ITF tournaments held in Egypt, with the outstanding result helping Nam leap from 800th to 702nd in the latest Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) rankings.
Previously, Nam’s highest ranking had been 385th in the world back on November 12, 2018, with the local player striving to return to this position in the near future.
