HCM City Women's FC prepare for AFC Champions League
VOV.VN - Ho Chi Minh City Women's Football Club will face three strong rivals from Japan, Taiwan (China), and India in the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Women’s Champions League for the 2024 - 2025 season this October.
According to the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF), national reigning champions Ho Chi Minh City Women's Football Club will vie for the AFC Champions League title which is scheduled to take place from October 6 to 12.
They will play Taichung Blue Whale of Taiwan (China) on October 6 and Odisha of India on October 9 before taking on Urawa Red Diamond of Japan on October 12.
All of the fixtures taking place in Group C will be held at Thong Nhat Stadium in Ho Chi Minh City.
Ho Chi Minh City Women's Football Club are scheduled to take part in a training camp in the Republic of Korea in late September as they prepare for the regional tournament.
This stage of the tournament will see a total of 12 teams divided into three groups.
The top two finishers of each group along with the two best third-placed sides will then progress to the quarterfinals of the AFC Women’s Champions League, due to take place in March 2025.
