Friendship golf tournament marks 50 years of Vietnam – Germany diplomacy
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese Embassy in Germany hosted a friendship golf tournament at Kallin Golf Club in Nauen, Brandenburg, on May 11, as part of activities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany this year.

The 2025 tournament, the eighth of its kind, attracted over 100 golfers, including representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany, members of diplomatic corps, German friends, sponsors, businesses, and members of Vietnamese golf clubs from across Germany.
In his opening remarks, Vietnamese Ambassador Vu Quang Minh highlighted the significance of this year’s event, saying it marks not only 50 years of Vietnam–Germany diplomatic relations, but also the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the victory over fascism.
The friendship golf tournament is a chance for entrepreneurs, intellectuals, and representatives from organisations and communities of the two countries to engage in exchanges, helping to contribute to the longstanding friendship between Vietnam and Germany, he said.
After five hours of competition across 18 holes at Kallin Golf Club, the awards were presented to winners of each group category.
