33 countries join Asian Golf Tourism Convention in Da Nang
VOV.VN - Up to 450 representatives from 33 countries are expected to attend the 2025 Asian Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC), which will take place from March 31 to April 5 in the central city of Da Nang.

The information was shared at a press conference on March 31 to announce the 2025 Asian Golf Tourism Convention (AGTC) in Da Nang. This marks the second time Da Nang has hosted the AGTC, solidifying its position as Asia's Leading Festival and Event Destination.
Over the five-day event, a wide range of activities will take place, including the 2025 Asian Golf Championship and the Asian Golf Tourism Conference.
Additionally, representatives from 168 golf tourism companies will conduct a survey program in Da Nang.
The World Golf Tourism Association will also announce the Golf Tourism Awards, recognizing outstanding golf courses and destinations as voted by international golf tour operators. Notably, Da Nang will receive the "Outstanding Contribution to Golf Tourism" award for its significant role in developing global golf tourism.
Tan Van Vuong, deputy director of the Da Nang Department of Tourism, highlighted that hosting the AGTC for the second time provides Da Nang with a valuable opportunity to showcase its remarkable tourism potential to international audiences.
This event will further strengthen the city's standing on the regional and international golf tourism map, creating new opportunities for the growth of golf and luxury tourism.
He also revealed that the city’s tourism development plans through 2030 position Da Nang as a central tourism and service hub for golfers, with golf tourism being one of its major attractions.
