Cong Phuong heads to Belgium to link up with Sint Truidense FC

VOV.VN -Vietnamese forward Nguyen Cong Phuong departed from Ho Chi Minh City on the morning of July 12 for Belgium to join his new club side, Jupiler Pro League side Sint Truidense FC.

After landing in Belgium, Phuong will be taken to a local hospital to undergo a medical examination before officially joining the Belgian team.

Phuong will not be alone however, he is to be accompanied by a Korean assistant from a company belonging to Lee Dong Jun, the agent of the national football team’s manager Park Han-seo.

With pre-season fixtures already underway in Europe, Phuong may soon make his debut for the Belgian side in a friendly tie against Lommel FC on July 18.

Sint Truidense FC will take on Royal Excel Mouscron FC in their opening match of the Belgium Jupiler Pro League season on July 27.
