Binh Duong to host international cycling races in March
VOV.VN - The southern province of Binh Duong is set to host the 15th Binh Duong International Women’s Cycling Open 2025 and Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2025 as part of the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) system in March.

According to the Organizing Committee, the competition will take cyclists through breathtaking landscapes, from highland cities like Da Lat to coastal destinations such as Phan Rang - Thap Cham, Phan Thiet, and Nha Trang. Notably, riders will face 12 mountain passes to test their endurance and strategic skills.
The two races are expected to create intense competitions among 24 teams from various countries and territories. Among them are 10 top Vietnamese teams and 14 international teams from France, Iran, Uzbekistan, Thailand, Mongolia, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, and Taiwan.
The Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2025 marks a milestone as it becomes the first Vietnamese women's cycling race to be included in the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) system. The march 7-12 race consists of five stages covering nearly 600 km, starting from Binh Duong and finishing in Da Lat.
Following the Biwase Tour, the Binh Duong International Women's Cycling Race 2025 will commence, featuring seven stages spanning approximately 800 km. Starting from Da Lat, the March 12 – 18 race will pass through Khanh Hoa, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, and Dong Nai, before concluding in Thu Dau Mot city of Binh Duong.
Ngo Van Lui, head of the Organizing Committee said, the inclusion of the Biwase Tour of Vietnam 2025 in the UCI calendar is a result of continuous efforts from organizers and Vietnamese cyclists.
“This recognition will elevate the status of Vietnamese women's cycling on the international stage and create more opportunities for our riders to compete in major global tournaments,” Lui emphasized.
