Women Union marks 30 years of Kovalevskaia prize
VOV.VN - On March 6, the Vietnam Women’s Union marked 30 years of the Kovalevskaia prize in Hanoi in presence of Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan.
Head of the Party Central Committee’s Mass Mobilization Commission Truong Thi Mai said, “I hope that Vietnamese female scientists will help to improve the quality and competitiveness of Vietnamese products and inspire younger generations in scientific research.”
Over the last 30 years, the Vietnam Kovalevskaia Prize Committee has awarded 17 collectives and 44 individuals for their scientific research in mathematics, chemistry, biology, healthcare, education, and agriculture.
