VOV, WB launch photo contest “For the health of Vietnamese people”
VOV.VN - Online Newspaper under Radio Voice of Vietnam (VOV) in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to Vietnam, the World Bank and the Ministry of Health on August 29 jointly launched a photo contest “For the health of Vietnamese people” to celebrate 40 years of the Alma-Ata Declaration on Primary Health Care.
It is also designed to help people get a better understanding of the EU's contributions to PHC activities for the people of Vietnam.
The contest is open to all professional and amateur photographers across the country and overseas Vietnamese living abroad as well as to foreigners living and working in Vietnam.
According to the competition's regulations, photos should be taken throughout the nation with priorities given to subject matter in disavantaged localities, including Ha Giang, Cao Bang, Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Bac Kan, Lạng Son, Yen Bai, Son La, Dien Bien, Gia Lai, Kon Tum, and Dak Nong. The winner of the first prize will receive VND50 million, while two second prize winners will get VND20 million each. VND5 million will be delivered to the third prize winner, while five consolation prize winners will receive VND2 million each.
Entries can be sent to organizers from September 1 until the end of October 19. The awards ceremony is set to take place in October 2018.
