VOV fosters ties with Egyptian National Radio
VOV.VN - Mohamed Naurwa, president of Egyptian National Radio has hosted a reception for a delegation from the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) led by Vu Hai Quang, deputy general director of VOV to review co-operation agreements and deepen the relationship between the two national radio stations.
At the event, VOV representatives and the Egyptian National Radio highlighted the close links between the two media agencies in actively exchanging radio programmes, as well as carrying out diverse radio programmes on introducing the policies of economy, trade, investment, and culture of each country.
These activities have contributed to greatly enhancing the understanding among the peoples of both nations, whilst providing businesses with plenty of useful information on the market situation.
As a means of implementing the signed agreements in substantive and effective manner, Quang and Naurwa emphasised the need to increase the exchange of reporters, ramp up co-operation in journalism training, as well as exchange cultural and musical programmes, especially live radio shows to mark the 60th anniversary of the two countries' diplomatic ties.
The Egyptian President proposed that VOV co-operate and design Vietnamese language teaching programmes for Egyptians, as well as Arabs in general, as more and more people are keen to gain deeper insights into Vietnam, its land, culture, and people.
This comes after the VOV delegation paid a working visit to Vietnamese Ambassador to Egypt Nguyen Huy Dung in order to learn more about the situation in Egypt and the Middle East, the application of science and technology in radio and television, as well as the development of media in the Middle East, especially radio in the digital age.
