VOV.VN - Four out of the five Vietnamese students competing at the Nordic-Baltic Physics Olympiad (NBPhO) have won medals, including one gold, two silvers, and one bronze.
The gold went to Tran Dinh Dung, while Nguyen Manh Duc and Le Duc An also grabbed silver medals. Elsewhere, the bronze medal was awarded to Dinh Tran Hai Chien.
All of the medal winners are 11th grade students who attend Hanoi – based Amsterdam High School.
The NBPhO competition was originally scheduled to take place in Sweden from May 8 to May 13. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was moved to run in an online format instead.
NBPhO was first launched on 2003 with the participation of 20 contestants from each country.
This year marks the first time that Vietnam has sent contestants to the competition.
