The AChO 2026 was held from January 15 to January 18 in Bali, Indonesia, bringing together participants from 12 Asian countries and territories, with thousands of top-performing students competing in Level A and Level B.

The Asian Chemistry Olympiad is an annual international academic contest conducted in English for students from Grades 7 to 12. It provides a platform for participants to develop scientific thinking, apply chemical knowledge and engage in an international academic environment.

The competition offers Vietnamese students the opportunity to compete in English, work with continent-level examination standards and develop modern chemical thinking. 2026 marks Vietnam’s second year at this international event.

At Level A, the Vietnamese delegation earned one Champion title, along with five gold medals, 10 silver medals and 19 bronze medals.
At Level B, Vietnamese students won six gold medals and three bronze medals. Overall, Vietnam’s final medal tally comprised one Champion title, 11 gold medals, 10 silver medals and 22 bronze medals.

The results at the Asian Chemistry Olympiad 2026 underscore the Vietnamese team’s solid academic preparation and demonstrate the confidence and readiness of Vietnamese students to compete at the regional level.
