Organised by the State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs (SCOVA), the annual programme took the participants through 10 provinces and cities, offering rich experiences in cultural exchange and heritage discovery. Through visits to historic landmarks, local communities, and national institutions, the camp aimed to deepen the youth’s connection to their roots, promote cultural pride, and encourage future contributions to Vietnam’s development.

The year 2025 marks a historic milestone, celebrating of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam) and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of the South and national reunification.

Delegates explored iconic sites such as the Cu Chi Tunnels and Truong Son National Martyrs’ Cemetery, and met with heroic mothers and war veterans, reflecting a spirit of remembrance and national gratitude. Participants also engaged in volunteer activities supporting disadvantaged children, reflecting Vietnamese values of compassion and community.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, SCOVA Chairman Nguyen Trung Kien praised the delegates’ enthusiasm, creativity, and strong bond with Vietnamese culture. He expressed his hope that the young participants would carry their experiences home and continue to share and promote Vietnamese language, heritage, and identity abroad.

Many participants described the camp as a transformative journey—one that not only strengthened their connection to Vietnam but also inspired a deeper sense of responsibility toward the homeland.

The event concluded with awards for standout participants in the Vietnamese language competition and a reaffirmed commitment from organisers to continue building bridges between Vietnam and its global youth community.
