Professor Odon Vallet spoke highly efforts made by the Vietnamese students, expressing his hope that the scholarships will help them make significant contributions to building the country in the future.
The Vallet Scholarship has been awarded in Vietnam since 2001. During the past 18 years, more than 30,000 Vallet scholarships have been awarded to Vietnamese students with total value of more than 200 billion VND.
Awardees are typically excellent students in urban areas or children of poor families in remote areas in the Mekong Delta and northern mountainous provinces.
In France from 2000, Prof. Vallet, through the introduction of Prof. Van and Prof. Ngoc, has given more than 100 scholarships to Vietnamese students in France.
