Two sea turtles released back into the wild near Ho Tram beach

VOV.VN - Two sea turtles were released back into the wild on May 6 after being found entangled in fishing nets near Ho Tram beach, following coordination between the Phuoc Thuan Border Guard Station in Ho Chi Minh City and the Ho Tram Commune Public Service Centre.

At around 6:45 a.m., local fishermen discovered the two turtles trapped in nets while fishing near Ho Tram beach.

The fishermen immediately removed the nets and brought the turtles to the Ho Tram Commune Public Service Centre for medical care and health checks.

A preliminary examination showed that both turtles were in good condition, had not suffered serious injuries and were fit to survive in the natural environment.

After receiving the turtles, the centre coordinated with the Phuoc Thuan Border Guard Station to transport them to a safe area at sea before releasing them back into the wild.
