Three drug dealers arrested in Ha Tinh

VOV.VN -Police in Ha Tinh province, working in collaboration with border guards on the Cau Treo international border gate, foiled a major drug trafficking ring from Laos on January 23, seizing a large quantity of drugs in the process.

Upon approaching the border gate at 16:40, police stopped a suspicious car and conducted a search, leading to the discovery of 120 bricks of heroin.

The discovery lead to the arrest of three Vietnamese nationals residing in Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces.

The suspects confessed that they had been transporting the drugs from Laos to Vietnam in order to distribute them. A further investigation into the case is underway.
