Hanoi police seize 6,000 synthetic drugs

According to initial information, at 11:30 pm, the police stopped a suspicious motorbike driver when they were on duty on Hoang Cau Street.

A search found 6,270 synthetic drugs hidden in 26 red and blue plastic bags. The suspect is identified as Nguyen Van Bac, 37, residing at Hoang Kiem District, Hanoi.

At the police station, Bac, who is a drug addict and previously held a criminal conviction, admitted that he was hired to transport the drugs for VND30 million.
