Three Chinese nationals arrested for payment card fraud
VOV.VN - Three Chinese nationals have been arrested for illegally using international payment cards to appropriate funds in Vietnam, Da Nang police said on August 11.

The police August 5 conducted an urgent arrest of Yi Huaibin, 19, and Zhang Jinmin, 33, at an apartment on Ham Nghi street in Da Nang, where they were found to be using stolen credit card information and international payment cards.
At the time of arrest, the police seized 11 POS machines (cashless payment devices), 196 receipts, three international payment cards, two laptops, and 10 mobile phones.
Simultaneously, another police team intercepted and arrested Yi Huaimou, 34, elder brother of Yi Huaibin at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City, as he was attempting to flee Vietnam.

During interrogation, the suspects initially confessed to illegally using international payment cards or card information of others by swiping the cards on POS machines to appropriate money from the cards.
Expanding the investigation, the police continued to apprehended two Vietnamese individuals, Tran Quang Tra, 35, and his wife, Trinh Thi Khanh Linh, 29, both residing in Thang Binh commune, Da Nang city. They seized 14 POS machines, 15 bank cards, and 186 payment invoices.
Preliminary police findings estimate the total amount defrauded from victims to be about VND30 billion. The Da Nang Police Investigation Office is continuing to expand the investigation and will handle the case according to the law.
