Three Chinese nationals arrested for illegal entry into Vietnam

VOV.VN - Border guards in northern Vietnam have apprehended three Chinese nationals who attempted to illegally enter the country, according to the Quang Long Border Station under the Cao Bang Provincial Border Guard Command.

The arrests took place on May 27 as patrol forces were monitoring Ban Dau hamlet in Thong Nhat commune, Ha Lang district. They spotted and detained the group during their unauthorized crossing.

During initial questioning, the individuals admitted to entering Vietnam illegally with the intention of transiting to a third country in search of employment opportunities.

Authorities are currently finalizing the necessary procedures to repatriate the individuals to China in accordance with border regulations.
