Thai Govt opens two hotlines for public information

The government has launched two 24-hour hotlines, 1111 and 1567, to provide information regarding His Majesty the King’s funeral.

Lt Gen Sunsern Kaewkumnerd, the government spokesperson, said 1111 and 1567 public information hotlines have been opened for those planning to take part in the royal funeral. Necessary information can be acquired from the two 24-hour hotlines.

The public can seek information about how to set up an altar with a portrait of His Majesty the King, on both hotlines he said, while asking that all royal flags be taken down.

50 district offices of Bangkok have already set up altars for the public to pay their respects to the beloved king.
