Tay Ninh receives 79 Vietnamese citizens repatriated from Cambodia
VOV.VN - A total of 79 Vietnamese citizens from 22 provinces and cities were repatriated from Cambodia, Tay Ninh provincial police announced on September 9.

Most of these citizens had been residing or working illegally and had violated the law in Cambodia, resulting in their temporary detention.
At Moc Bai International Border Gate in the southeast province of Tay Ninh, authorities carried out procedures to receive the citizens from Cambodia and conducted investigations and verifications.
The results showed that 22 cases had legal exit documents, either via passport or proper travel arrangements, while 57 cases involved illegal exit. Among the illegal exit cases, authorities identified one individual on the prohibited exit list.
The citizens reported that they had voluntarily traveled legally or illegally to Cambodia, mainly to Phnom Penh and Bavet, to work as servers, karaoke staff, interpreters, or restaurant assistants. Some were involved in fraudulent activities via apps, fake online games, or investment scams.
Relevant agencies finalized entry procedures for the 22 legal cases, including 14 valid passport holders and 8 with proper travel documents. For the 57 illegal exit cases, the Moc Bai International Border Guard Post filed records and issued administrative penalties for 55 individuals, with a total fine of VND206 million.
