VOV.VN - The fifth summer camp for children from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam opened in Ho Chi Minh City on July 31, drawing the participation of 205 outstanding children and 41 officials from three Indochinese countries.

The camp will run until August 4, during which participants will take part in a wide range of activities such as offering incense and flowers to late President Ho Chi Minh at the municipal Children's House, visiting famous tourist attractions like Ho Chi Minh Museum, Cu Chi Tunnels and Artinus 3D Art Museum, joining cultural exchanges of the three countries and meeting the city’s leaders.

Phan Thi Thanh Phuong, vice secretary of Ho Chi Minh City's Youth Union and head of the summer camp’s organizing board, said the biennial event aims to tighten solidarity and international friendship between the involved countries and create a useful playground for the children.
