Summer camp: young expats explore Ho Chi Minh City

The camp provided a valuable opportunity for young expats from across the world to meet and share their views and feelings, while building bridges of understanding between Vietnamese people around the world.

During the three-day event, participants will take part in a wide range of interesting activities in HCM City and Nha Trang City in Khanh Hoa province. They will present gifts to children at a charity home in Go Gap district and learn to cook Vietnamese dishes at the Saigon Tourist Hospitality College. They will then visit the Institute of Oceanography, Long Son pagoda and islands in Nha Trang before holding an exchange with soldiers of the Submarine Brigade 189 under the Vietnam People's Navy.

Leung Ylang, an overseas Vietnamese living in Cambodia, says this is the third time she has joined the summer camp. She is very happy to meet both new and old friends to share experiences while visiting her homeland.
