RMIT, Prudential Vietnam cooperate in human resource development

VOV.VN - The Australian Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology RMIT and Prudential Vietnam have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in enhancing employment opportunities for graduates and research to make further contribution to Vietnamese community. 

Prof. Gael McDonald, President of RMIT University Vietnam said the agreement will tighten links between the university and major businesses in Vietnam to help students develop their future career. 

Especially, RMIT students, who follow WIT & WIL methodology, will be supported by Prudential Vietnam’s experts. 

Many RMIT graduates have been employed by Prudential so far thanks to their critical thinking, creativity and practical skills. Prof. Gael McDonald affirmed that both sides will further cooperate in research projects to bring more benefits to Vietnam.

Wilfred Blackburn, director of Prudential Vietnam stressed that Prudential Internship Program aims to seek and develop talented students to become Vietnam’s future leaders. This long-term program focuses on developing young talents for leadership positions of Vietnam’s life insurance market.

He hoped that the cooperation will help RMIT students get new experience, broaden their knowledge, and develop professional skills to find a good job after graduation.
