Remains of soldiers repatriated from Cambodia reburied in An Giang
VOV.VN - The remains of 88 local soldiers who sacrificed their lives during previous conflicts in both Cambodia and Vietnam were finally laid to rest on July 24 at the Doc Ba Dac Martyrs' Cemetery in the Mekong Delta province of An Giang.

Of the total, 80 sets of remains were discovered in Cambodia’s Kampong Speu, Takeo, Kandal, and Kongpong Chnang provinces. The rest were found in locations in Tri Ton and Tinh Bien districts of An Giang province.
The remains were collected and returned to the country during the 2023 to 2024 dry season by the search team K93 of the An Giang Military Command and search team K90 of Military Zone 9.
Among the sets of remains gathered in Vietnam, four were identified.
The Doc Ba Dac Martyrs' Cemetery has so far gathered together 9,009 graves of soldiers from North, Central, and South Vietnam who sacrificed themselves during historical wars.
