Radio Contest launched to mark World Radio Day
VOV.VN - The Voice of Vietnam (VOV) officially launched its own Radio Contest in response to World Radio Day that falls on February 13 each year.
Opening with the theme of “Radio - a century of serving information, entertainment and education”, the contest is open to Vietnamese people, overseas Vietnamese living in foreign countries, and foreigners living in Vietnam.
Entries can be submitted in the form of articles (handwritten or typed), videos and audios in Vietnamese or English that feature history and importance of radio, the meaning of World Radio Day, the role of radio in life, suggestions for radio programmes, as well as the theme of World Radio Day 2024.
All submissions qualified for the contest must be those which have not been sent to other contests or introduced to the public in any form.
Entries should be sent by the end of January, 2024, via email icd.vov@gmail.com or via post to International Cooperation Department, Radio The Voice of Vietnam (VOV), 8th floor, 58 Quan Su street, Hoan Kiem district, Hanoi.
On offer are a first prize worth VND15 million, a second prize worth VND10 million, and two third prizes worth VND5 million to be given to best entries.
