PM attends groundbreaking ceremony for National Exhibition Center
VOV.VN - A groundbreaking ceremony for the National Exhibition Center was held in Dong Anh district of Hanoi on August 30 in the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh.
The 90-hectare complex is listed among the world’s top 10 largest exhibition centres and is predicted to emerge as a "new wonder" of the capital.
The project is located at Hanoi’s northeast gateway, the centre of key traffic arteries which includes infrastructure such as roads, airports, and metros to provinces across the country.
The National Exhibition Center is a national key project in the field of trade and services, which is envisaged to develop in parallel with global trade hubs.
It is also anticipated to become an international destination for leading global trade and exhibition events, whilst simultaneously opening up bright prospects ahead for the development of a vibrant expo economy.
In addition, the exhibition complex is expected to create a favourable international environment for domestic and foreign businesses to strengthen trade connectivity and become a new driving force for Hanoi’s economic growth moving forward.
