PM attends groundbreaking ceremony for international hospital in Hue

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the International Centre No.2 of Hue Central Hospital in Hue city on April 6.

The facility is an extension of the International Centre of Hue Central Hospital to meet the increasing demand for medical examinations and treatment of local and foreign residents, as well as foreign travelers.

The six-storey building will be built with a total construction floor area of 21,000m² and a total investment capital of nearly VND400 billion. Once completion, it will have a full system of modern medical equipment.

The project has Hybrid operating rooms, an artificial kidney system, a full automation testing system, complete imaging diagnostic system, PACS, LIS, HIS combined with synchronous technical infrastructure, meeting the capacity of receiving an additional 300 hospital beds meeting international standards.

The centre will be built in about 700 days, according to Prof. Pham Nhu Hiep, director of Hue Central Hospital.
