The Dong Da festival is held annually on the fifth day of the first lunar month to commemorate the victory of King Quang Trung (Nguyen Hue) over Chinese Qing invaders in 1789. |
Attending the ceremony were Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Secretary of the Hanoi municipal Party Committee Hoang Trung Hai, and former secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Pham Quang Nghi. |
