National press awards in pictures

VOV.VN - The 11th National Press Awards ceremony was held on June 21 in Hanoi to mark the 92nd anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

The winning works include 7 A prizes, 24 B prizes, 39 C prizes and 25 consolation prizes.

Presence at the award ceremony was President Tran Dai Quang,

National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan and other Politburo members, Party Central Committee (PCC) members and leaders of ministries and departments

President Quang presented a bucket of flowers to journalists.

Thuan Huu, PCC member and President of Vietnam Journalist Association said this is the 11th year the award has been held in high quality and strict manner.

According to the awards’ council, 1,637 works from 214 press organizations and individuals were submitted for competition. Out of 129 finalists, 95 won awards.

President Quang and NA Chairman Ngan presented 7 A awards to the most outstanding works.

Head of the PCC Commission on Popularization and Education Vo Van Thuong and Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Binh conferred B awards winning works.



Radio Voice of Vietnam journalists won three B prizes and three C prizes.



VOV President Nguyen The Ky and VTV President Tran Binh Minh gave C prizes to authors.
