Indian naval vessels make port of call in Vietnam
VOV.VN - Indian naval ships on a two-month long operational deployment to the East Sea where they are participating with the US and Japan in naval exercises arrived on May 30 at Cam Ranh Port in Khanh Hoa Province.

The guided missile stealth frigate, INS Satpura, and the INS Kirch, a guided missile corvette, are participating in an exercise named MALABAR-16.
The fleet with a crew of 80 officers and 580 sailors is under the command of Rear Admiral SV Bhokare, Flag Officer Commanding Eastern Fleet, a statement from the Indian navy said.
During this overseas deployment, the ships of Eastern Fleet will make port calls at Cam Rahn Bay (Vietnam), Subic Bay (Philippines), Sasebo (Japan), Busan (Republic of Korea), Vladivostok (Russia) and Port Klang (Malaysia).
The visits to each port will last four days and are aimed at strengthening bilateral ties between the navies.
During the visit, Indian officers will meet with leaders of Khanh Hoa Province and visit the Navy Zone 4 High Command and the Vietnam Naval Academy in Nha Trang City among other activities.
