Highway accident leaves two dead and more injured

VOV.VN -A serious road traffic accident has occurred on Km 244+350, Cau Gie-Ninh Binh Highway, leaving two people dead and two others seriously injured.

According to reports from local traffic police, the incident occurred at 17:30 on March 5 with a passenger coach crashing into a container which was driving in the same direction.

Two people, who have been identified as a doctor and a police officer, lost their lives whist two others suffered injuries as a result of the collision and were immediately transferred to local hospitals for treatment.

The passenger coach was completely destroyed by the incident.

The cause of the road traffic accident is currently under investigation.
