VOV.VN - Hanoi initiated its COVID-19 vaccine rollout for ninth grade students across the capital on the morning of November 27 as part of efforts to slow the rapid spread of the virus to the wider community.

The morning of November 27 sees a total of 742 ninth grade students at Trung Vuong Secondary School in Hoan Kiem district vaccinated against COVID-19. Students at the vaccination site have their temperature checked at the entrance.

As part of efforts to ensure safety, Trung Vuong Secondary School arranges for students to sit apart in order of classes

According to information provided by the Hanoi Department of Health, the capital will continue to vaccinate ninth grade students and gradually reduce the age of teenagers being jabbed to 12 years old. The Hanoi Department of Health has also allocated a total of 137,724 doses of Pfizer vaccine to 30 districts, towns, and cities as it aims to inoculate 14-year-old children with their first vaccine dose
