Google honours Vietnamese Teachers’ Day
VOV.VN - Global tech giant Google has marked celebrations for Vietnamese Teachers’ Day by creating a unique doodle.
As a way of commemorating the occasion, today’s Google Doodle icon depicts a group of colourful bumblebees looking at a larger bumblebee that is holding a book. The large bumblebee plays the role of the educator, while the others students are learning from their teacher.
Vietnamese Teachers’ Day falls on November 20th annually that allows students to express their respect for their teachers and honour their quality teaching work.
Previously, Google had devised a unique doodle in honour of local workers on the frontline for their round-the-clock services combating the COVID-19 pandemic.
An animated image showcasing the national Vietnamese flag was also featured by Google on September 2 to mark Vietnam's National Day.
Each year sees Google pay close attention to other Vietnamese holidays, typically showing its respect through doodles, including events such as the Hung King's Festival, the Mid-Autumn Festival, and the Lunar New Year.
The search engine is renowned for speaking up in times of need and drawing attention of users to pressing issues.
